Team Tooke wins big at Jiu-jitsu World League Houston!

The Jiu-jitsu World League was back in Houston again on Sunday, April 7th to host one of the best competitions in the country. Jiu-jitsu practitioners from all over Texas and even from out of state took part in this prestigious competition. Team Tooke and its affiliate academies (Team Tooke Cypress, Torres BJJ, Island Grappling Academy, Midtown MMA, ACS) came out and together had over 50 competitors. In the end we brought home a ton of medals in both the kid and adult divisions of the event. But what we are most proud of was how the teammates and coaches came together to motivate, encourage and push one another to do their very best and be the best martial artist’s possible. The effort of the team was in full swing and the energy was contagious. The team is now gearing up for the IBJJF Houston Open on April 13th and the team is ready to put on another great performance!
